Praia da Ilha da Barreta

The Ilha da Barreta Beach is one of those treasures still to be discovered by men.
Its look of almost a wild island is only contrasted by the presence of the facilities available for visitors.
The absence of houses or even a camping park turns Barreta in an almost desert beach, where walking around the wide sandy area, have a swim on its calm and warm waters and admire its astonish landscape is priceless!
The access to the beach is also very pleasant and takes around 30 minutes only by boat (€3,50 adults and €1,50 children), worth the contemplation of the surrounding nature, where the Ria Formosa shows its unique charm.
This is a good spot for practitioners of windsurf, water-motor sports and for fishing.
